Kayaba Industry spins off and merges its Systems Products segment, Kayaba Rae Stage, and Nihon Koki under the new name Kayaba System Machinery Co., Ltd.

Kayaba Industry adopts “KYB” as its popular name

Vibration control products transferred from KYB

Business partnership with Nihon Moog K.K. in the automotive tester field

Taiwan office was opened.
Mie Plant's office has been moved and put together into Mie West Plant.
Then, Mie West Plant has been become a main plant of the company.
